We take the protection of the personal information of our customers and persons interested in our offers very seriously, and we comply with all requirements of the data protection acts. At the same time, we hereby provide information on the handling of personal information of the users and visitors of our online shop. By agreeing to the following contents, consent is also given to the data collection, use and processing as described therein.

1. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Information

1.1 Operation of the Online Shop
Personal information is collected and processed within the scope of the operation of our online shop. Personal information comprises inventory data such as the name and address of a person and usage data (e.g. password).

1.2 Orders & Customer Account
Personal information provided in connection with orders from our online shop, in particular for the creation of a customer account, is required for entering into, executing and handling contracts and for the purpose of future customer support and customer care; it is processed and used by us in this context.

1.3 Advertising Purposes
Moreover, we also use the personal information mentioned in clause 1.2 for our own advertising purposes, in a general as well as in an individualized form. Thus, we provide our customers with general information about our product portfolio and its components and/or about marketing campaigns, as well as with individualized information with regard to their respective usage history of our online shop (regarding any purchase concluded or not yet concluded, e.g. for items which have been put in the shopping cart, but not yet finally ordered). Such information is sent by post and/or email. Our customers may object to the use of such data at any time (either entirely or for individual advertising purposes). 1.4 Newsletter
Data provided on a voluntary basis when subscribing to our free newsletter are used exclusively for sending the newsletter. We use a double opt-in process in order to ensure that our customers will only receive our newsletter if they really want to. For this purpose, we send them a notification email in which they confirm by clicking a link contained in this email that they want to receive our newsletter. Unsubscribing from our newsletter is possible at any time. For further details, please refer to clause 4.

1.5 Contact Form
Data provided on a voluntary basis when using our contact form for entering into contact with us are used for handling the respective contact request or matter and any further queries. After handling the request or matter, the relevant data will be deleted, unless there are legal obligations to retain data. This consent may be revoked at any time, with effect for the future. For further details, please refer to clause 4.

2. Disclosure of Personal Information

2.1 If the payment method "on invoice", which is only available for business customers“, is chosen, the customer's creditworthiness may be verified without the express consent of the customer where required to protect our justified interest and provided that the respective customer's matters worthy of protection are not impaired.

2.2 For the purpose of executing and processing your orders and future customer care, the personal customer information may also be disclosed to partner companies (parcel and postal service, forwarding agencies, letter shop service, assembly service) as needed (address and possibly product data).

2.3 Furthermore, personal information is collected and processed if users and visitors of our online shop submit a non-binding request for a consulting appointment for individual bathroom planning. If we provide the (currently only national) service in your respective postcode area, this information will be forwarded to the relevant interior designer from our partner network for further handling.

2.4 As a matter of principle, no personal information will be disclosed to any third parties apart from the above mentioned data.

3. Statistical Data

3.1 Server Statistics
Within the server statistics, such data are automatically saved which are transmitted by the browser of the individual user. However, such data normally cannot be assigned to any specific person. The stored data are not combined with any other data sources. In detail, the data collected in this context are the following:

  • Browser type/version
  • Operating system used
  • URL of a so-called referrer
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP)
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

3.2 Econda
For the need-based design and for the optimization of our online shop, solutions and technologies of econda GmbH ( are used to record and save anonymized data and to generate usage profiles from these data, using pseudonyms. For this purpose, cookies (for definition, please refer to clause 3.3.1) may be used to enable recognition of an internet browser. Usage profiles are, however, not combined with the pseudonym carrier's data without the express consent of the visitor. In particular, IP addresses are made illegible immediately after receipt, so that assignment of usage profiles to IP addresses is not possible. Visitors to this website may object to this data collection and storage at any time for the future here.

3.3 Cookies

3.3.1 General
Cookies are small text files that are placed on the digital terminal device or data medium of the customers to make sure that the latter can optimally use all functions of our online shop. Most of the cookies used by us will be deleted from the digital terminal device or data medium of the customers at the end of the respective browser session again; these are called session cookies. Some cookies remain on the digital terminal device or data medium of the customers. They allow us to check the essential functions for the operation of our online shop. For reasons of safety, we use cookies on different pages of our online shop. These cookies enable certain functions or contribute to the optimal performance of our online shop. This is especially the case on the login page, in the ordering process or during the automatic storage of products in the shopping cart. In these cases, cookies ensure that the respective customers do not have to re-enter the same information every time they visit our online shop again, or if they navigate between the single pages of our offer. The saving of cookies can be disabled at any time. The help function in the menu bar of most Web browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer or Firefox) explains how users and visitors of our online shop can prevent their browser from accepting new cookies, how users and visitors of our online shop can ensure that their Web browser informs them whenever they receive a new cookie, or how they can delete all cookies already received and disable all future cookies. Please note that the aforementioned functions (login and ordering possibilities or automatic storage of the shopping cart) are no longer working in the latter case. To use these functions, please cancel the cookie block again.

3.3.2 Third-Party Providers
Ads of various providers may be integrated on the pages of our online shop. Such third-party providers use the abovementioned cookies for placing ads on the basis of previous visits to our online shop. These ads also include personalized ads of Google. In this way, by means of cookies, ads are adapted (personalized) in such a manner that they contain products which may be of interest to the respective user. No personal data are collected, processed, saved or used during this process. Users can deactivate the use of these cookies by Google by calling up the page for the deactivation of Google advertising. As an alternative, users can deactivate the use of cookies by further third-party providers by calling up the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative.

4. Right to Information and Objection

4.1 According to the Federal Data Protection Act, users and visitors of our online shop have a right to free-of-charge information about the data stored in relation to their person, as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of these data, where necessary.

4.2 The consent to the processing of the personal data can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. Regarding the promotional usage, such revocation can be made with an overall effect or be restricted to individual advertising measures, without incurring any costs other than the cost of transmission according to the basic rates.
